July 29 & 30
Cedar City
The Coach Noah played for back in the regular season called us up and asked if Noah would want to play on his travelling team next year. He also wanted to have the same team play in this tournament that came way too soon. They practiced a lot. Sometimes twice a day. But this was their first time ever 'playing' together, and most of the teams have been together for years.
Our poor kids.
Have ya heard of the Badnews Bears?
That was our team.
Except without the comeback.
It was pretty sad. We got beat [which is a huge understatement] every single game.
But it was a good experience for the boys. They got to play different positions and learned a lot.
I shouldn't have taken these behind the fence, but I wasn't fast enough most of the time.
Noah pitched a few times. It was his first time pitching, and our boys' first time hitting from an actual pitcher.
I thought this was cute when they had a little 'meeting'.
Team 'cheer' and 'good games'
Like I said, it was a good learning experience for all of them. It was fun spending a couple days out of town watching them.
I love baseball, and am excited for the season next spring!
