Shooting

I think this was Easter weekend, too. We met up with Brett & his boys to shoot.
They brought all the favorite guns, and took turns shooting each of them.
My boys included.
Lexie stayed in the truck because they were too loud for her.
I sat in the back of the truck, working on getting some color, and taking pictures.
Good times!!

Cutler was cracking me up in these ear protectors

At some point, throwing the clay pigeons was the fun thing to do

Cutler was saying something or doing something that was totally cracking Brett up, obviously.

When we were all done, Lexie got out of the truck and helped pick up all the shells.
We had just bought her these boots earlier in the day, for camping, but she wasn't about to take them off.

Easter: part 4

Birthday party & Final egg hunt

We celebrated Carson, Michael, and Blake's birthdays right after church.

They fed us some yummy food and ice cream sandwich cake.
YUM!!

We played for a bit...

and then it was time to move on to the next place.

We always have an egg hunt at gramma Sherie's.
This year, because of everything else going on, it was the last stop of the day.

I mostly followed Cutler around, so he's pretty much the only one I have pictures of .
Once in a while Lexie would show up, but Noah was completely MIA.
He's too fast for me, and doesn't wait for the camera at all!
Cutler was sportin' his new spy mic thingy..

Easter: Part 3

Easter Morning

What the Easter Bunny brought

It's a tradition of mine every year, to take a picture of the kids in their Easter clothes before church.
This year I completely forgot, so we had to redress some after church.
I wasn't going to miss getting these pictures.

The boys do not love taking pictures these days.
But Lexie will ham it up most of the time.
I guess that's one of the differences between boys and girls.
I'll take it!!

Easter: part 2

Coloring Eggs

This year I went the easy route.
Really.
Found a kit I must have bought a year or two, or three ago :)
Set them up in the back yard,
and let the kids have at it.

No final picture.
I'm good like that these days.

Easter: part 1

Neighborhood Egg Hunt

This year we did our egg hunt a week early because some of our neighbors were moving...which we're very sad about!
So I made them wait to start because I had the wrong lens on my camera. After we got started and were almost done, I realized I didn't have a card in it! Oh.My!! I was struggling. I did manage to get a couple pictures of Lexie. She was pretty much done though.

Hallie, Blake, Mel, and papa Kent joined us too

After we find the eggs...we eat!
These 4 boys pretty much rule the street.
Cutler already misses Maddux so much!!

And these kids...They were so funny.
They kept running back and forth, don't know why.
But it entertained them.

When it was all cleaned up,
and most of the people had gone home,
the big boys needed to show off their skills.

We love having these little block parties, even though it makes other people mad!
We have great neighbors, and are super sad to see the MacIntosh's leave.
