Animal Kingdom
This park, next to Magic Kingdom, was our favorite! The best part was the safari. You load up in these bus like jeeps and it's about 30 minutes long. We saw a ton of different animals...some up close. And some I wasn't able to get a picture of. But here's a little bit of what we saw.
Rhino
Giraffe
Ankhole Cattle - check out their horns!
Mama & Baby Elephant - look in between her trunk and leg for the tiny baby
There was a whole area about dinosaurs. It was set up like a carnival where you could play games and there were a couple of rides.
The best ride hands down was the Expedition Everest! This roller coaster takes you up to what looks like the track has been torn apart...stops...you can hear the tracks switching...then you go backwards down a different track in the dark. You come to a stop and watch the Yeti tear apart the track again...the tracks switch again...and you go another way down a steep hill and finally back to the start. Crazy fun! My mom closed her eyes the entire time. Who does that?
After a few hours we were ready to be done. We made our way over to Camp Minnie-Mickey to visit. Got our 2 important pictures and were done for the day!
From the park we went with my parents to IHOP! Why don't they have one of these in the park? My kids ate like they hadn't eaten in days.
Breakfast for dinner is always a winner!
Once we got back to our hotel we had our baths then went down to do the night-vision watch. It was amazing! And I didn't even take a picture. They have the n.v. goggles and you can watch all the animals in the savannah sleeping or doing whatever they're doing. Noah had been wanting to do this from the very first night we got there. But they told us the wrong place to go. We finally found it and I'm glad we did. It was very cool.
