Starting Labor Day weekend in labor.

He's finally here!! Mason Colby Labrum - 8 lb. 2 oz. 21 inches. Born last night after a LONG day of labor. He was SO worth it and we are totally in love!!

This can't be good

I've had swollen legs/feet before with my other pregnancies, but nothing like this time around. Not sure if it's the heat or what, because Cutler was born in August too, but some days it's so bad I literally have to lay down and hope they go back down. Dr. Rogers doesn't ever seem too worried about them. All I know is I'm miserable! I had a doctor appointment a few hours after these were taken, and I really hoped he would have an answer for me as to how to relieve it. But he didn't.

And today when I came out of my appointment, some knot head parked right next to me, I mean right. next to me. I literally could NOT walk between the two cars. I was already upset because I was really hoping the doctor was going to send me over to get started, and then I couldn't even leave when I was done. I'm a very stubborn person, and wasn't about to climb in the other side and across the seats, so I waited. I waited for almost an hour, and still nobody came to move their car. So I had to go through the other door. Which was not easy, and I was NOT happy about it. I was so annoyed with being pregnant at that moment, I wanted the person to come so I could make them feel really stupid about what they did.

Birthday party

Being 8 1/2 months pregnant doesn't make for a very fun mom. 

Plus, we live with grandma.

And not by all of our old friends and neighbors.

But, this year for Cutler's birthday party, he just wanted to go to Laser Mania with a few friends.

So that's what we did!

And it was perfect.

They all had so much fun, and he got to spend it with his best friends Owen, Maddux, & Lachlan

Once the boys all got there, they got right in and played a couple of games of laser tag. 

After that we ate pizza, and then went and played some games.

Owen & Maddux were the big winners!!

Then we had cake and chose prizes.

These are the kind of parties I like to through these days!!

Kinda sad, but true ;)

And honestly, as long as the kids are having fun, and they're happy, that's all that matters, right?

Happy 7th Cutler

Since Cutler's birthday was on a school night, we just celebrated with family 

and saved the party for the weekend. 

First thing in the morning, since it's the first day of school, I made him a special pancake.

We met at Red Lobster for dinner (which took FOR.E.VER) 

then went back home to have ice cream sundae's and open presents.

Pretty low key, which I'm deciding is pretty nice!!

Hope you had an awesome 7th birthday, Cutler!! We love you buddy!!

First day of School

The boys and I are so excited for school to FINALLY start!! 

Noah is in 5th Grade and has Mr. Prince (I had him in 3rd grade)

Cutler is in 1st Grade and has Mrs. Gunther

We are all super excited about their teachers, and mostly just excited to see friends on a daily basis, and be back on a schedule! We need some 'old normal' right now.

Every year I take a picture of the kids in the front yard in front of the tree.

Well, this year we live at grandmas, so it's not the same.

And today isn't just the first day of school,

it's Cutler's birthday!!
