We love going up to Minersville each year at Christmas time to celebrate with the entire Carter family. Every year we eat, santa comes, we sing to my grandma (her birthday is Christmas Eve), and we eat some more.
Last year we added the nativity, and so we did it again this year. Some of the kids, Noah included, think they're getting too big to have a part in it.
He asked me if maybe next year he might be too old to be in it ;)
I told him probably not, and he just rolled his eyes at me ;)
Linda's family was in charge of it this year, and they did it a little bit different.
Some of the kids had speaking parts, and they added sheep.
Oh the sheep! They were the stars of the play :)
Cutler, Davin, and Kyden - the three hooligans!!
They would baa randomly, loud, and it cracked us all up!!
Lexie was an angel, and Noah was a shepherd.
Santa was a crack up this year. Not quite sure what was going on, but he had us all cracking up ;)
He read The Night Before Christmas to all the kids sitting in a circle in front of him.
He wanted Lexie to sit on his lap while he read it, but she wasn't about to.
So Cutler volunteered.
He would read some, then pause, and the kids would finish his sentence.
Then he would have some comment.
Oh my, it was memorable for sure ;)
They also had a little spot for photos.
The kids thought that was fun
