a month

Today Lexie is one month old. I can't even believe it. She's still tiny, but to us is getting so big. Her cheeks are pudgy, her thighs actually have some creases in them, and she's just as cute as ever.
Now, I'm no photographer, but I had to snap a few pictures of her today and I think I really got her little personality to come out.
Starts out sweet and innocent
Gets a little (ok a lot) irritated
This is how she really felt

Lexie, you are growing so fast and are so sweet. Your brothers can't get enough of you, and neither can dad or I. We all wish you could stay little forever!! We love you!

Hunka hunka

This week was the official start of potty training. Can I just say ugh!? I hate it already. So today I put Cutler in his underwear and he wanted the rest of his clothes off. Everytime he came around the corner I would bust up. He looked so funny. Just check out the pictures. And just for the record, I did not make him pose. He did these all by himself. I bet you all wish you had a hunka chunka 2 year old!!

Just some random pictures

Cutler loves his little sister. Whenever she makes even a little peep he says,
"Uh oh, baby thad(sad)" and runs to wherever she is to make sure
she's ok. And if he can reach her he'll give her a kiss. He's so concerned!
Last week Colby and I were lucky enough to go to the temple. Those of you
with kids know that's a luxury. Gramma Sherie babysat and Noah was so
excited to feed Lexie. He told her to take a picture so it could go on the blog.

I just had to note that I finally got Lexie to take a binki. She wouldn't for
the longest time, she would only suck her thumb. This was the
first time she actually took the bink.

One proud papa!! He always asks me, "How's my little girl?" He loves her so much.
I bet he never thought having a girl could be so great.

Our little 'one-eye' girl. She does this quite often, we get a kick out of it.

We may have a...

Thumb sucker!
Can it really be true? We tried and tried to get Cutler to suck his thumb (Colby & I both did) but he never would.
Lexie finds and gets it all by herself. We think it's cute, but have started to give her the binki since it can be taken away when the time is right.

Sledding

I don't know how but I totally missed putting this on the blog. Colby & the boys went with his parents up to Pine Valley one Saturday to check out the snow. Doug took his sled and they had a blast...

Lexie's photo shoot

Over the weekend I had Sherie take some pictures of Lexie so I can get going on her birth announcement. And I just need some pictures of her. I'm not being very good about grabbing the camera right now. These are some of my favorites...

Birthdays...

This year I have already told myself that I am not going to do a post for each person in my family on their birthday. So please don't feel bad if I don't have a special post just for you on your special day. I did however promise to myself that I wouldn't miss my mom's birthday because I didn't get her on last year. And she has been such a big help with my kids when it came to being sick, having surgery, and having a baby.

So HaPpY (late) bIrThDaY MOM! (it was yesterday)

Special request:

The hair.

A few of you have asked to see how much hair Lexie has...here it is. I hope you can tell, this was the best picture I have of it.
