Family pictures

I originally had just scheduled pictures for the kids. With news of Colby's tumor, and his upcoming surgery, I just had a feeling I should have family pictures taken. My amazing and talented BFF Tiffany quickly agreed, and in fact said she was planning on that anyway. 

I wanted something different, it's hot, I wasn't sure where to go or what I really wanted, but as always, she's amazing and knew of this little ghost town, Grafton, up by Zion. So we made the venture up there.

Can I just say…

I LOVE THESE!!!

And will always treasure them.

Lexie's 5 1/2 birthday party

This year for Lexie's half birthday we decided to do a Garden Party
(insert invitation)
The one drawback to doing a half birthday in June, is the heat. I opted for 11:00, hoping to miss the worst part of it. Which I think we did, but it was still hot!

It's always a good idea to recruit Melanie and Stefanie for anything to do with party! They saved my bacon on the decorations!!

When the kids all got there we had them paint a mini flower pot

While the paint dried, we played garden bingo.

For lunch we had triangle pb&j sandwiches, fruit cups, rice Krispies, and Kneaders Eclairs

When they were all done with lunch, we planted a flower in their pot they painted. 

Colby did that part :)

He's the best gardener!

I love celebrating this girl!!
