Baby birds

The day we left to go camping the kids found these baby birds in our back yard. 

They were either too young to know how to fly, or hurt and couldn't fly.

Not sure which, but they seemed to like my kids.

One of them let Lexie pet it, and it looked like it was actually enjoying it.

Kinda funny!!

When we got back, one bird was gone, and the other had died and was in the sand box. 

Sad to think maybe it fell down in there and wasn't strong enough to fly out :(

Camping with the MacIntosh's

April 26-28

We miss living by the MacIntosh's, so the next best thing is camping with them ;) 

We have the best spot up at Gray's Ranch, where our kids can go wherever they want, 

and do pretty much whatever they want.

And the best part about it all...

they all just play together, doing whatever they want, all day long.

Clearly, Noah isn't around much! I don't have any more pictures from the weekend,

and none of him!

I'm gonna have to make a special effort next time!!

BOY!!

We're all super excited!!

Well, maybe all but Lexie.

She wants a sister. And it would only be fair if there were 3 boys and 3 girls in our family.

Sadly, she's not getting her way.

Hopefully we'll get her convinced it will be nice being the only girl!

We took all the kids and they thought it was the coolest thing ever!!

He was pretty active during the whole thing, which was fun to watch. 

He kept moving his arm back and forth towards his face.

We told the tech we didn't want her to just tell us what we were having, that we wanted to guess.

While she was moving around, I saw it.

But I didn't say anything. 

It's amazing how the first time around, you can barely even tell it's a baby you're looking at,

and by the last you can tell every little thing you see.

Everything looks perfect, and from the 3D pictures, I think he already looks just like Cutler.

I can't wait to meet this little man!!
